He was, is, and always will be!

I found this AMAZING devotional for 4/10/09 and I need to share it! So many people think that they have to be the perfect Christian in order to live in peace and blessings...but my friend I am here to tell you that your FREE gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS and GRACE and SALVATION are exactly that....F-R-E-E!! Because of one man, Jesus Christ!

Meditate on these scriptures so that you truly understand what God has given us!

All That Jesus Is Before God, You Are

2 Corinthians 5:2121For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

When an Israelite brings an animal as his sin offering, he lays his hand on it before killing it. (Leviticus 4:1–4) By laying his hand on the sin offering, his sins are transferred to the innocent animal. The animal dies for his sins and he goes free.
In contrast, during the burnt offering, when the Israelite lays his hand on the animal (Leviticus 1:3–4), the beauty, worthiness and acceptance of the unblemished animal are transferred to him. God accepts the perfection of the animal sacrifice on his behalf to make atonement for him. Because God accepts the unblemished burnt offering, the offerer now has right standing before God.
Do you know that the two offerings speak of Jesus’ one offering of Himself when He hung on the cross? He is both our sin offering and burnt offering — “For He made Him who knew! no sin to be sin for us [as our sin offering], that we might become the righteousness of God in Him [as our burnt offering]”. The moment you put your faith in Him, just by His one sacrifice, your sins were transferred to Him, and His righteousness was transferred to you. That is the grace of God toward you!
As our sin offering, He offered Himself once and for all. (Romans 6:10) The sin offering was never a daily offering because God does not want His people to be sin-conscious. However, the burnt offering was both a morning and evening sacrifice (2 Chronicles 13:11) because God wants His people to be righteousness-conscious.
Beloved, God wants you to lay claim daily to Jesus as your burnt offering and say, “Father, I thank You that Jesus is my burnt offering. All that Jesus is before You — His righteousness, excellence, beauty and perfection — has been transferred to me. Jesus has Your unclouded favor, so I enjoy Your unclouded favor in my l ife. Jesus is the righteousness of God, so I am the righteousness of God in Christ. As He is before You, so am I.”
Because Jesus became your burnt offering, what He is to the Father today, you are! That is what it means to be in Christ.

HOW AMAZING! HE IS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE!

2009, Shine all the time

It's night time in the middle of June 2009; warm yet humid, almost uncomfortable. Your walking down a dark street alone, contemplating...debating. You question yourself, you question your steps, your needs, your desire...its hard to see. You are seeking out sight, light; dilated eyes black skies, you hide behind the cries of lost cat in the bush. You cannot see, where could the light be? You seek out the light, you seek out the light. You look to the sky, wishing the sun would come up. Hoping for the slightest break of day to bring on the comfort, the warmth.
There's your way! It's finally day; your watching your feet...
You feel the excitement! You feel the joy, the hope, the comfort and the embrace! It's time for the race that came at a preset pace you win by grace! Your on the trail without a thought of fail, quit is not a word...it is mistakenly heard, that awful word that came from the noise of the mass heard...population; gas station, mall, class, church, functions, parties...... fail fail fail, forget about the nail for grace, nail for forgiveness, nail for prosperity, nail for health, nail for abundance, nail for death....
quit quit quit, look at where we sit, look at where we lay, forget about the day HE came to say "It is finished", it's eternally heard, it's the living WORD.
The air is breezy, trees play, seventy five and nowhere to hide, nowhere to run, where is the SON? where is my path? why do you laugh? you said to quit, you said to fail....to forget the nail! I trusted you to see me through this dark world by hand, I trusted your hand! even in your dry land!
wait, could it be? What's that I see? The Son! He was here all along! Never to leave me! Never to forsake me! Always lighting my way so I can see! I must share this light! I must share this drink! I must share this land! I must share my hand! HIS hand! How can I let this go on in this world?
No fear, no quit! Press on through, no matter what you do, see it's true! He loves you, loved you first! Overflow'd with His LOVE you nearly burst, it spills over, no more 4 leaf clovers, luck lies devil ties spies, strongholds flee! Holy Spirit in me, healing be, see! three in one! Jesus the Son, He did not run, the sun! beat him, defeat sin! by grace We win! where have we been? where did we go? He is here to show, that you can know, you can grow, faith is not low, small child you slow, in your mind! God says your right on time, no need to wait in line! For all, for everywhere, for all time HIS LIGHT WILL SHINE!

Mark 5:28–29

You have heard people of the world say, “I will believe it only when I see it.” Generally, that is the way the world thinks. But God’s ways are not like the ways of the world. The world says, “If I can’t feel it or see it, I cannot believe the miracle is here.” God says, “If you believe it before you feel it or see it, you will see your miracle.”

Believing first before seeing the evidence of what we are believing for is called faith. Faith is like a spark and Jesus is the dynamite powder.

In the story of the healing of the woman with the issue of blood, there were many people who touched Jesus (Mark 5:31), but nothing happened to them. They didn’t touch Him in faith. But when the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years came to Him and touched Him in faith, He felt power leave His body (Mark 5:30), and it sparked off an explosion of healing in the woman’s body!

Hearing about how good, kind and loving Jesus was fired her faith to believe that He could and would heal her. So convinced was she (even when the condition in her body was still evident) that she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Did she experience her healing first before she believed? No, she believed first in Jesus’ goodness and power, acted in faith and only then felt the healing in her body.

In the same way, God wants you to believe in His goodness and love toward you. He wants you to know how willing He is to act on your behalf to bless you, and how, with Christ, He will freely give you every good thing. (Romans 8:32)

He wants you to declare by faith that all is and shall be well with you, and to expect to see just that. And then, no matter how long you have had the problem, no matter how bad the experts say it is, an explosion of healing and restoration will take place, and you will receive what you are believing for!

WOW

Only Christ’s Atonement Satisfies God

1 John 2:1–21… if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins…

Today, Jews still observe Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. As the name suggests, it is a day set aside to make atonement for one’s sins. But for Christians, this beautiful feast points to Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. Because of His sacrifice, all our sins have already been perfectly atoned for. That is why, should we sin, we know that “we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous”. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins.
Now, it does not say that if anyone repents, we have an Advocate with the Father. It says that if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father. The moment a child of God sins, straightaway, his Advocate, Jesus Christ, goes into action to pray for and protect him.
What about repentance then?
The word “repentance” is metanoia in the Greek, which means to change one’s mind. For example, you used to believe that Jesus was just a good man. Then one day, you repented and believed that He is the Son of the living God, who died for your sins and rose again on the third day, and you gladly took Him as your Savior.
Bible repentance is not this idea of hitting or punishing yourself to atone for your sins. Don’t turn it into a human work, like the man who went to a priest to confess his sins. When they were done, the priest asked the man, “By the way, what do you do for a living?” The man replied, “I’m a contortionist,” and proceeded to give a demonstration. Another man came along wanting to confess his sins. When he saw the contortionist all twisted up on the ground, he said, “If this is repentance, forget it!” and ran off!
My friend, there is no need to climb the Himalayas or whip your back bloody to atone for your sins. No amount of self-punishment or crying can atone for them. Your sins have already been punished fully in the body of Jesus. Only His finished work satisfies God. So change your mind and simply believe that Jesus alone is the propitiation for your sins!
